There is a photography theme park in the west of Chengdu city. On the east side of the park is the Chengdu Contemporary Image Museum, a spiritual temple specially built for Chinese photographers, with a building area of about 7,500 square meters. It is the only domestic contemporary photography art dedicated exhibition hall. It was completed and opened to the public in the spring of 2019, on the occasion of the opening, it presented two permanent exhibitions of “Bernard Faucon” and “Henri Cartier-Bresson”, and five temporary exhibitions, including “Sebastio Salgado” and “The First Golden Panda Photography Award-Winning Works Exhibition”, there were total of seven high-level international exhibitions. Within half a year, the Museum launched 11 exhibitions in total, and received high appraisals from the art circle.
